Arguably the best dash cam we’ve ever designed, tested and built, the MiVue™ PRO 4K is a single front camera with the crispest, clearest resolution currently available, recording at 30fps in 3840 x 2160 (or 4K or UHD). This clarity is possible due to the very large 1/1.8” low light 8MP sensor that pulls in more light, four times more pixels than regular HD dash cams. It is also packed with built-in safety features including ADAS warnings, as well as monthly safety camera alerts and school zone warnings which can be updated over-the-air.
Overview
With a 2.7” LCD screen and a 120 degree field of vision that avoids distortion in forward-facing images. You can use voice command to save an event recording or mute the microphone at any time rather than needing to touch the screen, but of course the device comes with event recording mode so any accident will be instantly hard saved without the need to push a button. Recordings are all stamped with GPS tagging to provide the precise location of any accident, as well as details of speed and direction of impact, thanks to the 3-Axis G-Sensor.
In addition to delivering the best quality footage, the MiVue™ PRO 4K also comes with many built-in safety features, like ADAS warnings for lane deviation and front. There are also monthly safety camera updates and premium safety alerts including school zone warnings which can be updated over the air. Also, it is installed with a super capacitor catering for fluctuations in cabin temperature and ensuring reliable operation. If you add in a SmartBox (RRP $79 plus installation) as a continuous power source, its front motion detection will trigger recording in Smart and Low Power modes, when the engine is switched off.
You can choose to download, view and watch footage faster than ever with EZYSHARE via WIFI via the MiVue™ PRO app, and the device can accommodate a Micro SD card up to 256GB.

About the Li-ion coin cell battery

EZYSHARE Instantly via WIFI
Records the event and automatically sends the footage to your smart phone via WiFi. In the instance that you are not connected via WiFi to your smart phone, the event will store on the camera and upload automatically when you are next connected for back up or to share your experiences on social media via the MiVue™ Pro app.# Connection to a WiFi enabled device with internet connection is required. Event Recording Mode
When the MiVue™ detects sudden changes in motion or an impact, the device instantly saves a protected video of the event for future analysis.
Smart and Low Power Parking Modes*
When used with the Smartbox accessory, the built-in motion and shock detection technology, Smart mode can automatically start recording if your car is hit while parked. When used in low power parking mode, you can be protected for longer as the MiVue™ is in standby mode and wakes up when shock is detected.* SMARTBOX accessory required to provide constant power supply to your MiVue™ device for use in Parking Mode.
