What is Integrated Smart Parking Mode?
Integrated Smart Parking Mode is a new feature available on selected MiVue™ dash cams that continues protecting your vehicle even after you've turned off the engine and walked away.
Unlike a standard dash cam that only records while you're driving, Parking Mode monitors your parked vehicle and automatically records if it detects motion or an impact. Whether it's a hit-and-run, attempted break-in, vandalism or even a runaway shopping trolley, your dash cam is ready to capture the event.
How does Integrated Smart Parking Mode work?
Everything you need to enable Integrated Smart Parking Mode is included in the box.
Once the Smart Parking 12V Hardwiring Kit is installed—we recommend professional installation by a qualified auto electrician—your dash cam receives a constant power supply while your vehicle is parked.
The Integrated Smart Parking Mode is designed with built-in battery protection inside the dash camIt automatically switches off based on a pre-set time or when your vehicle's battery voltage drops below a selected level, helping prevent excessive battery drain.
It also creates a neat, discreet installation by eliminating the need to plug the dash cam into your vehicle's 12V accessory socket.
Key features of Integrated Smart Parking Mode
- Time Lapse Mode Quickly review long periods of parking footage by condensing recordings into short highlight videos. For example, 10 minutes of footage can be viewed in approximately 20 seconds, making it much faster to find important moments.
- On Demand Mode Allows drivers to activate parking recording at the push of a button when it is required.
- Low Power Parking Mode Conserves battery power by placing the dash cam into standby mode. When an impact is detected, the camera wakes instantly, records the event and then returns to standby.
- Smart Parking Mode Automatically captures footage before and after the device is triggered by motion or an impact, storing the recordings in a separate parking events folder.
- Battery Voltage Display While in parking mode, press any button to view your vehicle’s current battery voltage.
