Navman unveils new premium dash-cams with WIFI for instant back-up and sharing of footage

New MiVue780 and MiVue850 devices safeguard from every angle

Today’s digital world means we are more connected than ever before and the ability to share information rapidly has become a significant part of our everyday lives. So it makes sense Navman’s new MiVue780 and MiVue850 Dual Cam dash-cams allow you to upload precious footage of any incidents you are involved in straight to your phone, thanks to the brand’s latest feature EZYSHARE via WIFI. This means any emergency or event videos will be sent straight to your smartphone via the free MiVue app and then from there you can share them to your email or social media sites providing you with even better protection and convenience on the road.

As well as Wi-Fi, these premium devices contain first-class dash-cam features arming you with everything you need to support your side of the story following an accident - so you aren’t stuck paying out hundreds of dollars for insurance excess and you maintain your good driving record. The MiVue850 Dual Cam even has a second camera for the rear of the car to capture any incidents that happen from behind) as well as, Advanced Driver Systems (ADAS) safety features

The MiVue850 comes with WQHD 1440P recording through the front camera and the rear camera records at Full HD 1080P.  While the MiVue780 records in Full HD 1080P recording. The two devices additionally feature safety camera alerts, optimised day and night recording for crystal clear footage during the day, night and in bad weather conditions. Like all dash-cams in Navman’s MiVue range these models include a glass lens for sharp recording as opposed to inferior plastic lenses that can be found on some other dash-cam products on the market.

The Wi-Fi capabilities also make it simple to share your dash-cam’s saved videos of wonderful scenery from your road trips or anything interesting or funny you have witnessed on your drives, online.

“The MiVue780 and MiVue850 additionally work to help you avoid some dangerous situations while driving. For example ADAS features, on the MiVUE850 provides a lane departure alert as well as a front collision alert, that warns you if you are driving too close to the car in front, while a front departure warning will also warn if the car in front has moved off without you noticing.

Both the MiVue780 and MiVue850 also include safety camera alerts with visual and audible signals that will warn you of upcoming cameras, based on your current driving speed, offering you plenty of time and distance to safely slow down,” she said.

The dash-cams come with a 2.7” inch screen and include other great features such as a generous 140 degrees angle lens, so you capture more detail of what is happening around you. There’s also a headlight alert that notifies you to switch on your headlights in low light conditions, such as carparks or at night and a driver fatigue alert that reminds you to take a break when you have been driving continuously for over two hours. An additional smartbox accessory available for purchase, gives you access to the device’s parking mode allowing you to capture footage when motion is detected while your car is parked.

The MiVue app is compatible to Android 4.4 above and iOS 9 above and is available for free on Google Play and the iTunes store. The MiVue780 and MiVue850 come with a one year warranty, the MiVue780 has an RRP of $249 and the MiVue850 has an RRP of $449.  Both products are now available at major electronics retailers.
